DENTAL IMPLANTS
The Dental Implant & Prosthetic Centre
Dental implants are the way forward in modern dentistry, providing numerous advantages over dentures and in certain cases over conventional crowns and bridges towards restoring comfort, function and aesthetics of the mouth and face.
What are dental implants?
A dental implant is a titanium screw, fixed into the jaw bone in a surgical procedure.  This is then left for 4-6 months to integrate into the bone.  At this stage, the implant head is exposed and a special attachment is fabricated to fit onto the implant and carry a crown, bridge or denture.

Are implants expensive?
Implants aren't cheap!  However when comparing this to alternative treatments, the advantages of implants make it a worthwhile investment.  A fully itemised estimate will always be produced and agreed upon before any commitment to treatment.

What is The Dental Implant & Prosthetic Centre?
The centre was established in 2005 by Michael Wieder and is part of the main surgery at 34 Malden Road .  To book an appointment, just call the surgery telephone number.
